The Indianapolis Colts have a handful of injuries heading into Week 1 and they might wind up being a bit shorthanded at cornerback.
Heading up Thursday’s injury report for the Colts is starting LCB Greg Toler, who missed a second straight day of practice with a neck injury. If he can’t go Darius Butler is expected to start in his place.
Rookie CB D’Joun Smith has been limited in practice this week with a knee injury. Here’s the full rundown. If both Smith and Toler can’t play Sunday the Colts will be down to four cornerbacks with one coming off a concussion in Sheldon Price.
