The New England Patriots receiving corps has been a bit of a revolving door this preseason and the turnstile may be rolling again. There are multiple reports that the Patriots have acquired Houston WR Keshawn Martin.
Martin, a receiver and kick returner, will be only the fifth wideout on New England’s current roster after they cut Chris Harper earlier this week. Veteran Brandon LaFell is on Reserve/PUP and won’t be back until Week 7 at the earliest.
Martin should transition quickly to New England’s playbook, knowing his head coach in Houston, Bill O’Brien, is a former offensive coordinator of the Patriots under Belichick.
