Both Tyrod Taylor and LeSean McCoy were limited for a second straight day at practice Thursday. Head coach Rex Ryan made a couple of comments on both players as to how they’re coming along in their injury recovery.
“Tyrod’s going good-he’s progressing, getting a little better, but I’m not comfortable saying he would definitely be the guy-yet (for Sunday’s game),” said Ryan.
Ryan said that EJ Manuel took most of the first team practice reps again on Thursday.
As for LeSean McCoy, he is much improved from how his hamstring injury felt last week, but his status is also up in the air.
“He’s a lot better this week than he was last week. I think he’s definitely progressing,” said Ryan. “We’ll let the week play out and see how he looks.”
