Bills QB EJ Manuel will make his second straight start on Sunday. Coming out of the Cincinnati game, Manuel feels there’s one particular area where his personal approach to the game was very different.
“I think the biggest difference for me is when we were down not allowing the flow of the game necessarily change my confidence or change my flow about how I felt about my performance or what I was going to do the next drive,” he said. “As a quarterback, you need to stay even keeled, and that was probably the biggest thing that felt different.”
Buffalo did struggle with poor field position for much of last week’s game. They didn’t have a drive start better than their own 20-yard line with six of their 10 possessions beginning inside their own 20. In fact their average drive start was their own 15-yard line.
