They’ve only had one start together this season, but EJ Manuel’s history with the healthy receivers on the roster goes deeper than that. So although Buffalo is shorthanded at the receiver position Manuel feels good about the on field chemistry with the receiving targets who will be suiting up Sunday.
“It helps a lot because our rapport off the field is so close so I can talk to him about anything,” said Manuel. “If it’s an adjustment that he saw during the game or that I saw on a certain route in practice we can talk about it and get it fixed.
“We still have some targets. Woods does a great job. Hogan does a great job. D-Mo (Denarius Moore) is going to do a great job for us at wide receiver as well. (Marcus) Easley. Then our tight ends, I think (Charles) Clay had something like nine catches last week. He’s a big target and I think he poses a matchup against any linebacker or safety.”
