Report: Carrington out for season
Posted by on November 30, 2015 – 11:36 amThe Bills suffered a few injuries in Sunday’s loss to the Chiefs. Among them Alex Carrington who was carted off with what at the time was called a knee injury. According to a report it’s the same injury that cost him most of the 2013 season.
According to NFL.com’s Ian Rapoport, Alex Carrington suffered a torn quadriceps tendon, the same injury he suffered in his first go round with the Bills in 2013.
#Bills sudden starter at DE Alex Carrington tore his quad tendon yesterday and will have surgery today, I’m told. Out for the season.

Carrington’s injury means he’s likely headed to injured reserve. Buffalo will probably place him and Kyle Williams on I-R this week to make room on the roster for suitable replacements.
