Eagles RB Mathews limited
Posted by on December 9, 2015 – 4:30 pmEagles RB Ryan Mathews missed the last three games with a concussion, but he appears to be on the road back to the playing field.
Mathews participated in practice on a limited basis Wednesday. Eagles head coach Chip Kelly said he was encouraged by Mathews progress.
“He was out on the field with us training yesterday and we’ll evaluate him as he goes through the week,” Kelly said. “We’ve got a couple of big workdays, so we don’t have to make any determination as to where he is until after we’re done training on Saturday, but we were encouraged by what he did.”
Philadelphia also has DeMarco Murray, Darren Sproles and Kenjon Barner in their offensive backfield.
