Buffalo TE Charles Clay missed the first game this season with a back injury last Sunday, but team doctors are encouraged by his progress. Karlos Williams saw limited action Sunday in his return from a shoulder injury and apparently came out of the game no worse for the wear. So he should be available this week against Dallas, which is important knowing that LeSean McCoy’s status is very much up in the air with a knee injury.
“Karlos Williams is sore, but he finished (the game),” said Ryan. “That’s a good sign.”
Charles Clay meanwhile did not play Sunday and that puts him in a good position to be available Sunday against Dallas.
“The Docs are real encouraged by the way he looks,” said Ryan of Clay. “It looks good. Hopefully he’ll be ready to go this weekend.”
Clay sat out last Sunday with a back injury.
