Darby doesn’t practice, Clay misses again
Posted by on December 24, 2015 – 2:21 pmBills CB Ronald Darby was limited in practice on Wednesday, but didn’t practice at all on Thursday. Charles Clay didn’t practice for a second straight as head coach Rex Ryan indicated that the Bills tight end is not where they thought he would be at this point in the week.
“You know obviously I wish they were out there at practice,” said Ryan of Darby and Clay. “But you know we’ll see how it goes. We were hopeful that both those guys would be able to play, but not sure right now.
“With (Charles) Clay, I don’t know if it’s a setback but we thought that he’d be ready to roll. But sometimes those backs can be tricky. (Ronald) Darby, you know he never got out of anything and now today he couldn’t go. So hopefully he’ll be feeling better tomorrow.”
If Darby can’t go that would leave Buffalo with Leodis McKelvin and Mario Butler as the team’s starting cornerbacks against Dallas on Sunday.
