Fitzgerald, Mathieu limited, Mathis doesn’t practice
Posted by on September 21, 2016 – 6:22 pmArizona has a couple of starters working through injuries this week, including their most recognizable player.
WR Larry Fitzgerald was limited in practice Wednesday with a knee injury. Fitzgerald hasn’t missed any time on the field through the first two weeks, but his practice reps have been monitored. S Tyrann Mathieu is coming off ACL surgery this past offseason, so his practice regimen has been scaled back. Meanwhile starting G Evan Mathis has been playing through a painful mid-foot sprain. Much like Buffalo’s Sammy Watkins, the veteran guard has been limiting his practice schedule to keep his foot fresh for games.
