Marcell Dareus headlined the list of non-participants at practice Thursday. Unfortunately for Dareus it’s a new injury. Up until last Sunday it was a hamstring injury that kept him sidelined, but now Dareus has a groin injury.
“Man, if it’s not one thing, it’s another,” said a frustrated Dareus. “I’m just constantly trying to stay strong and be here for my guys and get better.”
Dareus said that he injured his groin on one of the last plays of the game when he tackled LeGarrette Blount. As for playing on Monday night, Dareus said that decision has not yet been made.
“It’s to be determined right now,” said Dareus. “I’m steadily working with it and steadily working at it, trying to get it to a point where I can go.”
Here’s a look at the practice participation for Thursday.
