He’s just 24 yards away from a 1,000-yard rushing season and he leads the league in yards per carry average. But LeSean McCoy would gladly trade it in for a playoff berth.
“It’s hard to really think about, individually,” said McCoy. “It’s hard to think about success when you’re not winning games. You know, one of my best seasons was a losing season, stats wise and that kind of sucked. So, you always want to win, I mean that’s why you play the game. You play the game to win, compete, take care of your family. That’s the main reason that I play this game.”
McCoy was referring to his career best season in 2011 when he had more than 1,600 all-purpose yards and 20 total touchdowns.
