Run & stop the run not an issue for Bills

Granted it’s the preseason, but the Bills have made it clear from the beginning that under Rex Ryan their identity is going to be based on running the football on offense and stopping opponents from doing the same. Through three games in the preseason they’ve been solid at both.

After putting up 156 rushing yards against Pittsburgh last Saturday the Bills now rank tied for second in the NFL with 147.7 yards per game this preseason.

Meanwhile on defense after only allowing 43 yards rushing against the Steelers, the Bills now rank second in the NFL in run defense. Through the first three preseason games, Buffalo is allowing 68.3 rushing yards per game:
