FanDuel fantasy update Week 17

Posted by Chris Brown on December 30, 2016 – 2:29 pm

With changes on the sidelines and behind center, it was a week of transition for the Buffalo Bills. It will certainly make for an interesting game on Sunday when the Bills clash with interstate rivals, the New York Jets. Here are three Buffalonians who might make their way onto dozens, if not hundreds of FanDuel lineups:

LeSEAN McCOY – RB – $9,100

Shady comes into the game ranked fourth in the league in rushing yardage, with 1,257. He won’t be able to catch Dallas rookie Zeke Elliot (1,631), but you know he’ll want to overtake Le’Veon Bell (1,268) and DeMarco Murray (1,266). Against a Jets defense that allowed 41 points to New England last weekend, he’ll get his opportunities, he’ll get his yardage, and he’ll get his FanDuel points.

E.J. MANUEL – QB – $5,000

And while we’re on the subject of getting opportunities, don’t be shocked to see Manuel throw the ball 30-plus times! Bills fans will recall that Manuel can also run the ball, so with his $5,000 FanDuel price tag, he could be one of the week’s slicker plays.

CHARLES CLAY – TE – $5,600

Last Saturday, Clay’s FanDuel cap hit was $4,500, and if you had him in your lineup, that bought you 24.5 FanDuel points, which explains his massive $1,100 salary jump. Over the last two weeks, Clay has caught 15 of his 17 targets, so Manuel will likely look for the big tight end early and often.

Fan Duel Fantasy update for Week 15

Posted by Chris Brown on December 16, 2016 – 9:49 am

There are several FanDuel options this weekend as the Bills host Cleveland in the battle for Lake Erie.

LeSEAN McCOY – RB – $9,000
If you want a barometer of how a player is performing, just look at his FanDuel price increase on any given week. Shady hit the $9K mark for the first time this season, and is the third priciest running back in this week’s player pool, behind only David Johnson and Le’Veon Bell. (Elite company, right?) That said, McCoy has a better matchup than Johnson and Bell, and is, respectively, $800 and $400 cheaper. If you’re going to spend high at RB, this is the place to do it.

The Bills D—who has only had one game of negative FanDuel points in the entire season—looks to recapture its early-season FanDuel glory. Yes, $5,000-plus FanDuel bucks is pricey, but it should be worth it.

CHARLES CLAY – TE – $4,500
Last Sunday against the Steelers, Clay had the breakout game Bills fans (and FanDuel players) have been waiting for: We’re talking three catches for 52 yards, one touchdown, and 12.7 FanDuel points. If you can get 12.7 points for $4,500, you’re doing really, really, really well for yourself. Look for a similar performance against a defense that allows the second most fantasy points to tight ends.
