Andre has a message for Buffalo Bills fans on this special day –
andrehofquoteproof2

“I am excited, proud, and honored for my Hall of Fame ring presentation this weekend. Where else would you rather be … but in Buffalo with my family, friends and fans of the 2-0, division-leading Buffalo Bills.

Buffalo is my second home; I am here with my teammates in my Gold Jacket at Ralph Wilson Stadium. I could never have dreamed this moment would come in my life, yet here we are.

I love you all, you have my heart and my soul Buffalo, and with this ring we head into the Hall of Fame for life together.

Let’s do this, Buffalo, feed off the great energy around this organization. Go beat the Chargers and thank you all for keeping the Bills where they belong.

GO BILLS!”

-Andre Reed

Odds on Super Bowl enshrinement

Posted by Chris Brown on January 27, 2009 – 4:00 pm

If you want to get an idea on the chances for enshrinement for Andre Reed, Bruce Smith and Ralph Wilson for this weekend, SI.com’s Peter King has handicapped the voting by the HOF committee.

Bruce obviously has some of the best odds at 3:5 with Rod Woodson.

Mr. Wilson is next among the Bills finalists at 4:1.

Andre Reed was given the longest odds at 8:1, and it doesn’t sound like Andre has King’s vote.
