The Buffalo Bills are proudly partnering with ADPRO Sports in 2015, to recognize some of the best high school football coaches Western New York has to offer through the High School Coach of the Week program.  Throughout the 2015 high school football season the Bills and ADPRO will recognize 11 coaches of the week from both the Buffalo (Section VI) and Rochester/Finger Lakes (Section V) regions on  The winners will be selected by a committee of high school football experts from each region.

Winning coaches will receive a $1,000 grant for their school’s football program, a framed certificate signed by NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, Bills President and Managing Partner Russ Brandon, General Manager Doug Whaley, and Head Coach Rex Ryan recognizing their accomplishment, and an invitation to join the Bills on-field December 27th for a pregame ceremony prior to kickoff against the Dallas Cowboys. At the game, a High School Coach of the Year will be honored from each section, with those winners receiving an additional $1,000 grant for their football program.

The Section V Coach of the Week for week one of the 2015 season is Chad Green, head coach of the East Irondequoit-Eastridge Lancers.  The Lancers defeated their  rival the Irondequoit Eagles by a score of 33-17 avenging last year’s loss in the Section V Class A tournament semifinals.  The Lancers were led on offense by running back Curtis June’s 2 touchdowns which included a 74 yard scoring run and an interception return for a touchdown with less than 4 minutes remaining by Rayshauid Smith.  Congratulations to Coach Green and the Eastridge Lancers on a great start to the season.

Check back on each week for a video announcement of the Section VI Coach of the Week winner and a blog post featuring the Section V winner.  Good luck to all of the high school football coaches this season!
