Torbor status still up in the air
Posted by on August 27, 2010 – 4:08 pmBills OLB Reggie Torbor won’t be playing in Saturday’s preseason game against Cincinnati and is expected to miss the preseason finale at Detroit as well next Thursday. As for his availability for the home opener Sept. 12, that is yet to be determined.
“He’s about the same,” said head coach Chan Gailey when asked about Torbor’s condition. “We’re hoping to get him back for game one, but I don’t know.”
Torbor suffered an undisclosed injury in the team’s second preseason game against Indianapolis on Aug. 19. Gailey said he was confident Torbor would be out three weeks, which would run up to just a few days before the opener. Not knowing the nature of the injury it’s difficult to ascertain Torbor’s chances of playing, but knowing Buffalo’s opponent is his former team (Miami), something tells me Torbor will be doing everything possible to be game ready.
