Dr. Andrews offers opinion on Jack’s knee

With UCLA LB Myles Jack sliding down the draft board last night, his representatives got to work. They’ve solicited the opinion of famed orthopedist Dr. James Andrews, who has stated that Jack does not need further surgery on his knee.

That according to ESPN NFL reporter Adam Schefter.

Clearly this is a bit of damage control, albeit too late. And many expect Jack to be one of the first picks off the board tonight in round two tonight anyway.

LB prospect Jack cleared to perform at pro day

UCLA LB Myles Jack has been rehabilitating from a torn anterior meniscus since he had surgery in late September. He did not participate in drills at the NFL Combine last month, but according to reports he’s been medically cleared to participate in the Bruins pro day.

That according to’s Chase Goodbread, who said that UCLA doctors cleared the linebacker to participate fully at the Bruins pro day on March 15th.

Jack said at the NFL Combine that he was confident he would be medically cleared once he had his medical re-check in advance of the UCLA pro day. The talented linebacker is widely seen as a mid-first round draft choice.
