Great tribute to Bills Wall of Famer

Posted by Chris Brown on February 1, 2012 – 11:30 am

His career cut short by injury probably isn’t long enough to merit more consideration for the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but Alex Hickey make a good case for Bills Wall of Famer Tom Sestak, arguably the best defensive tackle the franchise has ever seen.

If you consider yourself a true Bills fan, but were too young to remember Sestak I encourage you to read this piece from the American Press.

Saban, Sestak are finalists

Posted by Chris Brown on June 13, 2011 – 3:12 pm

Former Bills head coach Lou Saban and Wall of Famer Tom Sestak have been named finalists by the Professional Football Researchers Association for an interesting honor.

In what the PFRA calls their ‘Hall of Very Good’ (no I’ve never heard of it before – nor the PFRA to be honest) they’ve got Saban and Sestak listed as finalists for their 2011 class.

The list of finalists numbers 20 and includes several recognizable names like QB Ken Anderson, LB Bill Bergey, AFL HB Paul Lowe, 1970’s RB Lydell Mitchell (Balt, SD, L.A.) as well as Saban and Sestak.

The PFRA will announce the Class of 2011 at the end of the year. More information can be found here.
